This group is designed to facilitate the recovery process for adolescents affected by eating disorders. Participating in a group with other adolescents who are at a similar stage of life offers each person the chance to forge meaningful relationships with people who understand the ups and downs of recovery, to hear how others are successfully navigating through recovery, and to learn how to trust others when sharing very personal information. Through discussions of how the participants are navigating this windy road of recovery, we will explore issues related to friendships, communication, stress tolerance, personal boundaries, and body image, among others.

This group is open to adolescents, ages 14-17, who are in the process of recovering from an eating disorder.
